We endeavour to connect orders to our fibre broadband network as quickly as possible. For most connections this can be within a couple of weeks of receiving an order.
In some cases, such as a complex building, a shared accessway, a rented property or where third party consent is required, a connection can take a bit longer to complete while we wait on consents - which is out of Enable's control.
This is because our fibre broadband network is entirely new infrastructure that we need to bring our network from your property boundary to your home. See the four ways we do this.
Delays can also occur as we receive several thousand orders for fibre broadband every month – which can impact how quickly we can connect a property.
