We provide direct support to a number of initiatives throughout Christchurch in order to make the city a more interesting and vibrant place for all of its citizens to live in.
Like the Crusaders, Christchurch is our home town too, so that is why we are proud to be the major sponsor of The Crusaders Take A Kid To Footy.
The sponsorship provides us a special opportunity to connect with families and children from across our region – and to work with the Crusaders to make going to the rugby an even more special experience for Crusaders fans.
Visit the Enable Take a Kid to Footy website to find out more.
Enable has partnered with Trade Me, FX Networks and The Press to provide free wireless internet access for all visitors to the Re:Start pop-up shopping precinct. Enabling visitors to enjoy free connectivity in this important retail area demonstrates our commitment to the recovery of the Christchurch community and businesses.
Enable is also a sponsor (by providing fibre connectivity) to GreenHouse – a Christchurch collaborative hub focused on supporting and commercialising small business.
Enable contributed towards the cost of keeping the U10 Red Team of the Saracens Rugby Club warm on the side-lines with new sports jackets. Staff member Nigel, whose son plays in the team, says his son and the entire team are really happy with the new gear.
Enable encourages fitness and wellbeing for young people in our community and has sponsored branded drink bottles for 100 Grade 9 footballers at the Cashmere Technical Football Club. Staff member Daniel is actively involved in the club through his son, as a Junior Player Coach.
Enable understand just how tough winter can be in Christchurch, so to make it just a little bit easier for local families we sponsored five Merino Kids Sleeping Bags to be put in their life-changing baby boxes. Customer Services team member Tania works full-time at Enable by day, and volunteers as the Branch Administrator at Little Sprouts Christchurch by night.
