Free Single Dwelling Fibre Installation Offer - Terms and Conditions

Enable's Free Single Dwelling Fibre Installation Offer supports builders to proactively install fibre during construction in new subdivisions.

The offer is designed to ensure eligible homes are fibre-ready, improve the connection experience for homeowners, and reduce delays and rework after move-in.

Eligibility and Builder Requirements

To qualify for a Free* Installation*, the single dwelling must meet the following requirements:

The Enable fibre lead-in must be installed from the property boundary fibre access point to the intended location of the External Termination Point (ETP).
A compliant Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) fibre cable must be installed between the ETP location and internal Optical Network Terminal (ONT) location as shown in the Installation Guide.
The property must be ready and accessible for connection. This means the external cladding must be complete, the internal walls painted, and the internal media panel installed. The build must also be around the electrical fit off stage of the build. Power does not need to be live at this stage.
A completed online request form is submitted with all required information.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in installation delays or the property not qualifying for this offer.

What Is Included

For eligible properties, Enable will provide:

Installation of one External Termination Point (ETP).
Installation of one Optical Network Terminal (ONT).
A join and bury at the property boundary if required.

Following installation, the homeowner can activate a fibre broadband service through their chosen internet service provider.

What Is Not Included

This offer does not apply where:

New network infrastructure must be designed or constructed.
The property is outside the coverage area of Enable’s network.
Multi-dwelling infrastructure is required.
Civil works, trenching, reinstatement, or construction work is required.
Additional network scoping or design assessment is required.
More than one fibre connection point is required for the property.
The required LSZH cable between the ETP and ONT locations has not been installed.

These scenarios may require a separate assessment and may incur additional charges.

Important Information

Installation dates are subject to site readiness and appointment availability.
Homeowners must choose an internet service provider to activate a broadband service after installation.
Enable reserves the right to assess and, if needed, modify the eligibility criteria for this offer.
Properties that do not meet the eligibility requirements may be assessed under an alternative process and may incur charges.

*Free Installation

A free installation applies only to eligible standalone residential dwellings that meet the requirements set out in these terms and conditions. The offer covers one fibre connection point per property and excludes projects requiring network extensions, network design, subdivision infrastructure, multi-dwelling infrastructure, or additional civil works.
